Scarlett is now 5 months old. Five months. Wow.
She officially broke a tooth through on her five month birthday - happy five months! She had been fighting it for a good 4 or 5 weeks, but it finally broke through! So, that night, we attempted to get a picture of it, and we succeeded, but only after a laughing good-time with all three of us.... Here's the photo shoot:
First Picture is of the real thing... yes, hard to see, but its there! |

OH and speaking of feet.... We have found our feet! She loves to play with them. When she was in the highchair for her feeding, she was still trying to eat them...now, I wish I would have gotten a picture of it. Darn. However, here are some more great feet grabbing pictures:
But, goodness, how could I forget....long before the days of Avocado (I'll post that next), were the days that Scarlett thought she could try mommy's Honey Bunches of Oats with Strawberries cereal. Yup, she just stuck her hand right in it and went for it! haha - see the pictures below:

Late Reaction, but she realized it was COLD! |

Then realized it was fun to play in! |
Speaking of avocado: we fed her baby food for the first time today (10/16). She seemed to love it, even though she was upset at first (see video). I took a fresh avocado, mashed it up, added some breastmilk, stirred it together and then had perfect, baby-ready homemade baby food! And we of course recorded it for everyone back home...

Oh and the best photo shoot of this month yet, is the one we captured one morning right after she woke up... So, we'll call this THE MANY FACES OF SCARLETT. :)
And I found one good reason for x-box....
racing games put Scarlet to sleep! Its wonderful. :)
Other than that, the big updates are that Joe PASSED HIS PT TEST! yay! We were so excited for him. Now that he has passed, he has been asked/accepted the ability to run the program (WIN). He will take it over around the time that we get back from our trip home in December... He was able to get 91.4 points on his test (out of 100), which is fabulous! Better than most - they strive to get everyone to get over 90, and he did better than that, 91.4! So awesome. :)
As for the world of Alyson, nothing new has happened. Nothing at all. I'm still working. and loving what I do.
Life in Germany is what we make it. And we're making the best of it.
Hugs across the pond to all. xoxo
Well....its just Mommy...Oma...whoever...its me. I am sitting here alone on a Sunday night and if anyone were to be here lurking in the windows they would think I am some strange lady laughing to myself and then laughing again...and again...because I keep pushing the play button over and over again. I know posting the blog is a lot of work and the videos take half the night to load as you have told me and daddy, but boy it is so worth it to us. You three being in Germany is wonderful and we would have it no other way knowing you are this happy. It just makes it so wonderful when you take the time to let us into your world with the videos with "an everyday" look....I love it - i feel like i am there again. It won't be long and we will be back in Germany sometime. Depends on God's perfect plan for us and we can giggle giggle giggle right along with all of you! :) :) :) Only a few more days and we will greet you in Chicago! Much love...Oma Kisses to Scarlett....
